ABSTRACT
Bertalanffy (1968) once pointed out that the principles of general systems, although they are originated from different places, are clearly similar to those of dialectical materialism. What is described in this statement is equally applicable to the chaos theory, a new research area. The development of the chaos theory has led to many dialectical thoughts.
