ABSTRACT
When Was the Last Time You Changed Your Social Security Number? Œis is an interesting question. Currently, for an individual living and working in the United States, a social security number (SSN) is the only thing that will truly stay with you “Until Death Do You Part.” No matter how clever we get, how many times we have moved, or how many controls are in place to protect it, the tie between an individual and their SSN leaves us vulnerable to those trying to steal identities for their personal betterment.
