ABSTRACT
It is axiomatic that medical doctors, dentists, nurses, emergency medical personnel, and biomedical engineers should be educated in human physiology. It is also imperative that workers studying physiological systems (PSs) undergo training in complex systems analysis. Needless to say, PSs are generally complex, regardless of scale.
