ABSTRACT

At present we know [1-3] that the micro hardness HB is a property that is sensitive to the morphological and structural changes in polymeric materials. For composite materials an additional potent factor is the presence of the filler, whose micro hardness is much higher than in the polymer matrix [4]. At the introduction into polymer pointed indenters in the form of a cone or a pyramid stress state is localized in a small micro volume and it is assumed that such trials “groped” real structure of polymeric materials [5]. Due to the fact that the structure of polymeric composites is rather complicated [6], the question arises how the component of the structure responds to the indentation and for how much this reaction is modified with the introduction of filler.
