ABSTRACT

The regulatory environment can consist of various types of regulations that influence international networks, including regulations concerning secrecy of information flowing across international borders, privacy of citizens whose information is transported across international borders, and regulations that concern parties that may compete in offering telecommunications services. The regulatory environment has been described by modeling it in a way that determines three elements: legal framework for competition, regulatory body, and competition active. The element of the regulatory environment is the Regulatory Body, written with capital letters as the representation of the regulatory body in the input parameter is meant. Regulatory Bodies are organizations that are responsible for implementation of part of the regulation and, in some cases, are responsible for development of regulation. The Regulatory Body can play an important role in the regulatory environment and can make or break the effects of the legal framework for competition.
