ABSTRACT
The only remaining indications are isolated hysteroceles in women desiring to keep their uterus; if a cystocele is associated, it must be moderate and not externalised.
INCONVENIENCES
They are numerous: – impaired fertility by partial resection of the uterine cervix; – risk of secondary cervical stenosis; – shortening of the anterior vaginal wall; – risk of a secondary rectocele.
