ABSTRACT

Employees involved with paying telecom invoices can attest to the complexity of reviewing bills, the arcane terminology of telecom services, and the plethora of billing options available to business customers. It is no wonder that with limited resources and the lack of skilled bill auditors, many businesses simply direct their Accounts Payable (A/P) department to pay the invoices without adequately reviewing them. Unfortunately, such practices lead to significantly higher business operating costs. In many cases, telecom expenses are the fourth largest expense after payroll, cost of goods sold, and facilities.
