ABSTRACT
The eld of organophosphate ester chemistry is of ever-increasing interest and importance in the chemical industry. This is especially evident in the surfactant industry. As a result of environmental concerns and the changing needs of an aging population, opportunities exist for surfactants functioning as effective cleansing agents and possessing properties of low irritation, low toxicity, chemical stability, and biodegradability.
