ABSTRACT
Access to efficient broadband Internet connectivity makes many tasks faster and easier. Wireless local area networks (WLANs) now offer high-speed Internet access at numerous locations in both public and private environments. Wireless broadband access to the Internet has recently witnessed explosive growth. Much of this growth has come from the rise of WLANs. Today, they are being widely used in markets such as education, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, government, and transportation. Wireless networking makes access to broadband connections efficient and inexpensive as well as omnipresent.
