ABSTRACT
The iris may be involved in a series of inherited anomalies and diseases and plays a role in disorders of the filtering angle or pupil. This chapter includes a discussion of aniridia, Waardenburg’s syndrome, anterior chamber angle, and congenital iris anomalies, and the possible relationship between iritis and other inherited forms of uveitis.
