Data Reduction Using Hierarchical Clustering and Rocchio Bundling

The organization of this chapter is as follows: Our approach to data reduction is given in Section 6.2. Essentially, we will enhance the training process of SVM with the DGSOT algorithm that was described in Chapter 5 (see also [2]). Complexity analysis is given in Section 6.3. The Rocchio decision boundary concept is discussed in Section 6.4. The Rocchio bundling technique is discussed in Section 6.5, and the chapter is summarized in Section 6.6.
