Each of these processes is discussed in this chapter, in the order shown above. Subsequent chapters focus on individual steps of the requirements process and associated concepts.
Another process, called build versus buy, is performed after development of the context diagram and before the requirements process. As a peer to the requirements process, build versus buy is outside the scope of this book, but is described in other Freedom information sources.
