ABSTRACT
Six Sigma has been described as a measurement, a philosophy, and a set of tools and techniques. It can also be described as a process. Because Six Sigma places great emphasis on understanding and improving processes, before explaining how it can be used to improve the system development process, it is important to understand the Six Sigma process.
