ABSTRACT
All contracts are not created equal. As discussed in previous chapters, there are significant differences among the various types of contracts. For the purposes of this book, contracts are divided into three categories: software licenses, professional services agreements, and service contracts. Software licenses, as Chapter 7 explains, grant the company the right to use a standard product, whereas professional services agreements and service contracts provide more customized services.
