ABSTRACT
Background The background on FBE-I was covered in Chapter 13 (“Modeling FBE-I with DoDAF”). The U.S. Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) series of experiments called Fleet Battle Experiments (FBEs) were designed to investigate Network-Centric Operations (NCO) as a framework for the development of new doctrine, organizations, technologies, processes, and systems for future war fighting. FBE-I (spoken as FBE-India) was the ninth in the series.
