ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to describe the application of pharmaco-
genetics to asthma treatment in children. The essential principles that are necessary for clinicians to understand and apply existing pharmacogenetic
data will be briefly reviewed. There have been a number of recent reviews on
this subject that provide a more comprehensive coverage of this topic (1-4).
