ABSTRACT
Several researchers have experimentally investigated the heat transfer associated with impinging jets. The major studies in this area have been carried out to understand the fluid flow in a single and multiple jet system. A few studies have focused on heat transfer characteristics. Most of the heat transfer studies apply only to a narrow range of Reynolds numbers, with the major focus on cooling applications over a flat surface.
