ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the control of production and material. It is not intended to provide exhaustive coverage of the subject; rather, it seeks to impart a working knowledge of the major elements of the fi eld to manufacturing engineers who must apply them in actual practice, and who must work side by side with production and material control and other professionals.
