Figure 23.5: (a) Male patient, 47 years of age, presented with unstable angina and a subtotal lesion in a 2.5 mm first diagonal branch. (b) Using direct stenting technique the lesion was crossed with 2.5 13 mm ML Pixel stent system, which was inflated for 50 seconds up to 12 atm. (c) Good acute angiographic result. (d) IVUS examination showed good apposition and symmetric expansion of the Pixel stent (this echo frame was recorded at the site of the arrow in Fig. 23.5c).
