ABSTRACT

A number of people have asked me to provide them with a sample Security Master Plan. This presents a problem in that every client’s plan is different, and, of course, they are all extremely confidential, so to construct a sample plan would be difficult and possibly mislead you on what your specific plan should look like. Therefore, as the next best thing I have provided you with an outline of the contents of a typical plan and some explanations and rationale of the different sections. As you begin developing the master plan for your client, or yourself, you may find that some of these sections are not applicable and you may need to add some that I have not listed here.
