ABSTRACT

The purpose of the Value Measuring Methodology (VMM) is to define, capture, and measure value associated with electronic services, but unaccounted for in traditional return-on-investment (ROI) calculations; to fully account for costs; and to identify and assess risk. Developed in response to the changing definition of value brought about by the advent of the Internet and advanced software technology, VMM incorporates aspects of numerous traditional business analysis theories and methodologies, as well as newer hybrid approaches.
