ABSTRACT
The heart of injection blow molding lies in the parison. Each container shape has its own particular and unique core rod and parison design. If the initial design of the parison and core rod is not suited for the particular bottle to be molded, nothing can be done to the process to ensure that good bottles will be produced. Redesign and rework or replacement of the tools becomes a very expensive necessity.
