ABSTRACT

Aneurysms involving the arteries supplying the abdominal viscera aremuch less common than

aneurysms of the aorta and peripheral arteries. However, rupture of these aneurysms is

associated with significant mortality, and therefore their management is important. Due to

their relative rarity, the natural history, the indications for treatment and the optimal treatment

method of visceral artery aneurysms (VAAs) are poorly defined.
