ABSTRACT
Spinal fusion is an important procedure for various kinds of instability in the lumbar spine, such as spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, fracture/dislocation, infection, or trauma. The rate of union, however, was not necessarily high in the fusion operation without the aid of instrumentation (1-3).
