ABSTRACT
Solvent extraction and ion exchange are widely used for metal recovery and sep-aration. However, increasing demands to environmental protection as well as the need to optimize a wide range of industrial processes facilitate the development of advanced separation techniques. For this reason impregnation of selective extract-ants onto polymer beads was proposed to “fill” the gap between the aforementioned techniques.
