ABSTRACT

Most engineered devices, products, machines, processes, or systems have moving parts and require manipulation and control of their mechanical or dynamic constructions to achieve a desired performance. This involves the use of modern technologies such as mechanism, sensor, actuators, control, microprocessors, optics, software, communication, and so on. In the early days, however, these were operated mostly via mechanical elements or by devices that caused inaccuracy and inefficiency, making the achievement of a desired performance difficult.
