ABSTRACT

Once I had completed the text of this book, I looked over what I had written and realized the years of training and trial and error that went into putting it together. As one of the old guard of this peculiar section of the industry, I realized that I had experiences that will probably never be duplicated by the practitioners of today. If they are, then we have done a poor job of communicating what we have learned over a few decades. The ground we trod need not be revisited, as we have covered it, stumbled on it and hopefully, found out where most of the potholes are. In retrospect, I certainly did not miss very many of them!
