ABSTRACT

X system solutions should sport a rich client, be compatible across browsers, and can be downloaded and installed transparently to the end user. They are also compatible with the following technologies:

1. Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) is a lightweight, eXtensible Markup Language (XML) based protocol for exchanging information in a networked environment. The SOAP specification defines the XML message format, the bindings to HTTP, and how remote procedure calls can be represented in SOAP. Currently, the most commonly used function of SOAP is to provide a mechanism for enabling remote procedure calls through an HTTP POST.
