ABSTRACT
When Joe was working on the BAS project, he sat in a training session on risk management. The instructor suggested that the project management team focus on the few risks that were very likely to occur and could have a large negative impact on the project. As Joe thought of all the potential risks associated with doing global development on such a large scale and his organization’s lack of experience with outsourcing, he realized that there would be more than a few risks to worry about.
