ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION Supportive care in oncology covers a broad spectrum of treatment modalities, often aimed at a specific group of cancer types. However, supportive care may also have its drawbacks and neurological complications can be the result of it. In this chapter, we will concentrate on the most common supportive therapies in oncology that have potential neurological side effects. Besides, some symptoms will be discussed together with their supportive care modalities and the associated neurological side effects.
