ABSTRACT

Primary cutaneous marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) represents a low-grade cutaneous B-cell lymphoma.

CLINICAL FEATURES

Because of considerable controversies in the classification of cutaneous B-cell lymphoma (CBCL), the incidence and clinicopathologic features of primary cutaneous MZL are still insufficiently delineated. Some authors consider MZL the most prevalent form of CBCL, whereas others regard it as a relatively rare type (1,2).
