ABSTRACT
Makeup and color cosmetics are a unique staple in our society. They are products that, when applied, can make a person look better and, as a result, feel better about herself. In fact, if applied correctly, they can make a person feel very good about herself. There would be an outward glow on her face and her smile would be large, shiny, and bright. Color cosmetics have been a cornerstone of civilization for well over 1000 years. Yes, we are in the beauty business, the business of making women — and men for that matter — feel better about themselves. I say men because what actor does not go on stage without makeup? And that makeup better be applied correctly to make that actor look good under all those lights.
