ABSTRACT
Despite a fairly uniform response of psoriasis vulgaris to PUVA and UVB phototherapy, the results achieved in other forms of the disease and its near relatives have been more mixed. This is partly due to the nature of the disease and partly to the photobiological limitations of the treatments. In general, combination treatment with addition of a retinoid or methotrexate is more often indicated under these conditions.
