ABSTRACT
Operations research may be generally described as a scientific approach to
decision-making that involves the operations of organizational systems. It is
widely used in industry. The most common and useful techniques are linear
programming, dynamic programming, game theory, network analysis including
PERT (Program Evaluation and Review Technique) and CPM (Critical Path
Method), queuing theory, and simulation techniques.
