ABSTRACT
It exists in various forms in the following proportions: 39% aqueous liquids, 17% inorganic sludges and particulates, 25% heterogeneous debris, 3% soils, and 5% organic liquids. The volume will increase to 1,200,000 since 1994. In addition, the DOE ’s treatment plans currently show a significant number of waste streams that require solidification and stabilization.
