ABSTRACT
The writing of differential equations from bond graphs is extended in this chapter from the simple cases given in Chapter 3 to the much broader class of models considered in Chapter 5. Models are categorized according to their causal status, and whether they are linear or nonlinear. Section 6.1 focuses on the writing of differential equations for the simplest causal classification, and Section 6.2 focuses on more difficult cases.
