ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with analysis of multi-environment trial (MET) data and identifies its four major tasks: 1) mega-environment investigation for understanding the target environment, 2) cultivar evaluation for each mega-environment, 3) test-location evaluation for each mega-environment, and 4) understanding causes of genotype-by-environment interaction (GEI). This chapter details how the genotype and genotype-by-environment (GGE) biplot technique can be used to achieve each of these goals. You will be amazed at how powerful the GGE biplot analysis is and how it can help you understand your data more fully.
