ABSTRACT
The RFID library is a set of functions to dialog with RFID devices. It can take advantages of RFID technology to show automation and security issues in circulation and shelf inventory applications. The driver for today’s libraries to adopt RFID is the need to increase efciency and reduce cost. Automation and self-service can help all sizes of libraries toward achieving these aims, and RFID has the added advantage that it can also provide security for the range of different media offered in libraries.
