ABSTRACT
Laplace's equation is one of the most important partial dierential equa-
tions that arises in the application of mathematics to physical phenomena.
It occurs in diverse contexts, including electrostatics, magnetostatics, elas-
ticity, gravitation, steady-state heat conduction, incompressible uid ow,
and many related areas described in, for example, [44] and [13].
