ABSTRACT
Groundwater cannot be seen like surface water, and thus identifying cases of contaminated groundwater can be difficult. Common clues of contaminated groundwater include fumes that have migrated to the land surface, contaminants found in well water, unaccounted for losses from chemical storage tanks, and contaminated surface water receiving groundwater flow.
