ABSTRACT
A numerical control (NC) program consists of a set of instructions or commands to the controller of a computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine to direct its operations on the part in the machine. Methods to generate the NC programs range from manual to highly automated:
• Manual part programming (e.g., in G and M codes for two to two-and-a-half-dimension parts).
