ABSTRACT
Structural evaluation of the material properties of in-service pavements is a key activity for both the
project and network level pavement management systems. It provides the necessary information for
pavement remaining-life analysis and overlay design, network level monitoring of pavement
performance, and for decision making by highway agencies concerning pavement maintenance
programming and rehabilitation planning.
