In Section 1.5.2, arguments were presented for domain growth laws in phaseseparating fluids. An important tool for understanding the asymptotic behavior of segregating fluids is the lattice Boltzmann method. In this chapter, we present details of the lattice Boltzmann method to solve hydrodynamic equations of motion. The diversity of the processes and patterns involved is illustrated by Figure 4.1.
