ABSTRACT

Probably nowhere else has the effect of air quality management strategies been seen more clearly than in stationary-source emissions control. This is not unexpected because historically, stationary sources have been the major anthropogenic emission source category. However, there are a limited number of back-end technologies that may be used to control emissions from stationary industrial and commercial processes. As a result, management options that reduce air emissions have come into play, in addition to the installation of air pollution control hardware.
