ABSTRACT
The role of fixation is to preserve the cell and its organelles in a conformation as close as possible to the living state. The main objective is to preserve the structural state of the organelles and their intracellular localization, as well as the proteins-proteins, proteins-nucleic acids interactions, while respecting the necessity imposed by the analytical method.
