ABSTRACT
The well-being of all laboratory animals is inseparably linked to the quality of management of the physical environment in the animal facility. Critical areas of concern include the animal’s macro-and microenvironment, nutrition, sanitation, and minimization of factors which predispose the animal to disease and injury.
