ABSTRACT
The synthetic advantages of mechanically initiated organic reactions are widely demonstrated in this book. We are on the eve of a new era in organic chemistry — the era when the dominating role of reaction solvents recedes. This refers to both laboratory synthetic methods and organic chemistry manufacturing. The pharmaceutical industry provides excellent examples of such an approach. Public chemophobia gradually will become groundless.
