Purpose and viewpoint of the model The system analyzed in this case study is the production line of ready-to-bake croissants. The company, which produces these croissants along with a lot of other products, is a major industrial bakery in Switzerland. Figure C3-1 and Figure C3-2 show parts of the ready-to-bake croissant line.
