Energy Flow, Food Webs, and Material Cycling

In this chapter we shall first look at food sources in the intertidal zone. Then we shall examine energy budgets for intertidal animals, leading to a discussion of the trophic structure and food webs of intertidal ecosystems, on both soft and hard shores.
