ABSTRACT
Mesoscutellum visible or not. Mesocoxal cavities narrowly to broadly separated, closed laterally. Hind wing may be reduced or absent; venation variable, in its most fully developed form with normal transverse folds, well developed medial fleck, radial and wedge cells; anal lobe absent. Elytra entire, covering pygidium; plain, costate, carinate, tuberculate, and/or with up to 11 punctate striae; epipleuron complete to absent.
